  • Can anyone tell me what models and makes of guitars Dennis, Glen and Michael are playing?

  • @GTVAlfaMan All Gibsons. Michael = SG Special (with Bigsby,) Glen = SG Custom (with Bigsby), Dennis = EB0 with added P-Bass pup.

  • @averagenetfool The SG that Michael's using must of been custom ordered because SG Special's had P-90 pickups, DOT inlays and unbound fretboard (not trapezoid inlays or bound fretboard) and they came with a different type of whammy bar bridge (not a Bigsby). Or it could be an SG Standard modified with P-90's.

  • @JNDGuitarman Thanks for the added info! I just looked harder and found this from an interview he did with Gibson, "I remember my first SG, which had a single-coil black pickup. Later, I got an SG Special, with two humbuckers, and put my original single-coil pickups in that guitar. That gave it a really nice fat sound.". So, he either modified a Standard or a Deluxe with the P-90s. I guess. I don't know. Now I have a headache! :)

  • And forty one years ago...

"Aunt" Alice and his awesome band.

  • @DexterHaven49 I totally agree and must I say, that was perfect! Although some of Grand Funk's - Good Singin' Good Playin' wasn't really bad considering Frank Zappa produced it. Crossfire and 1976 are really good and a couple others. but yes, I agree that after All The Girls Beware they lost it. Go To Hell was Alice's last good effort. He got worse into his bad world. I just wish they original band got back together before Glen died. I met Michael in the late '90..Real nice guy!

  • Damn he was hot and has still got the moves
