    Suncor has been using snags and coarse woody debris in reclamation areas since 2007. You can see a picture of the snags on Pond 1 on our Flickr account (sorry, YouTube won't let me post the specific URL).

    And yes, snags can be planted with a backhoe.

  • Is anything being done to introduce Coarse Woody Debris such as snags and rotten logs? Can snags be "planted" with a backhoe?
