My Grandpa and his brother used to play this kind of Western Swing, and while I never got a chance to hear them play any of it, but I'll bet sounded a lot like this. What a treat!

I've been playing guitar for over forty years and I can't believe I just stumbled across these guys at library! I've been preachin' about Danny Gatton and Buddy Emmons for years and now I see some of who their heroes must've been. I'm happy that there are still many pickers for me to discover, enjoy and TRY to emulate!

amazing that so few know of this music and its players today. Even in their own time they were playin' on "the outside" ut they were very well know amongst musicans and worked on a lot of shows and records.
