Jerry Ward, a concessionaire worker at Midway airport and member of UNITE HERE Local 1, gives a rousing speech at a press conference at City Hall, October 5, 2011, in support of proposed city ordinance that would give airport workers in Chicago a living wage and job stability. The press conference outside council chambers was attended by 20 city aldermen and over 300 members of UNITE HERE Local 1 and community supporters.
