Parade Day for Bafana Bafana in Sandton City, June 9, 2010

On Wednesday I went to Sandton City, on the outskirts of Johannesburg, to attend the "Bafana Bafana" cheering parade to send off the team before their opening game on Friday. There were easily 50,000 people on hand to celebrate the opening of the tournament but more specifically, to give their team the support it will so badly need if they are to advance out of the group stage.
