  • Maybe they were only picking retired great centers, which explains no Hakeem

  • I always get chills on Big Dipper entrance spot...I mean all those steps and creepy sound - with some legendary breath.xD

  • Wtf is Dirk Nowitzki doing in there??

  • he failed the last test, which was to shoot a free throw...

  • ja ja, estuvo buenisimo lo de kareem

  • @Hegone81

In his career Walton won championships in both NCAA and NBA, three time college player of the year, first team honors in both NCAA and NBA, MVP, Finals MVP, sixth man award, NBA all star, all defensive team, etc. Being in the hall of fame is all about your contributions and achievements in the sport, not just NBA. When you add up what Walton accomplished in his few years of playing how could he not be in the hall of fame? If Wes Unseld and Gail Goodrich made it why not Bill?

  • @bordertown C'mon there have always been a lot of stiffs at the C position. The 70's had some guys (Walton, Malone, Kareem, Lanier, and Gilmore mainly). There were other good ones who were probably called C's, but they were 4's masquerading as 5's (Wes Unseld, Dave Cowens- both short). Don't mention Rik Smits by the way because he was very good. The other guys were just big dudes, but there was plenty of that back in the day too.
