Beneath the quiet veneer of Iceland lies an invisible nation of Hidden People. This fascinating phenomenon, rarely discussed with outsiders, not only pervades Icelandic culture, but also impacts its infrastructure (e.g., road construction and buildings). This enlightening journey, through Iceland's celestial and mysterious environment, suspends one's state of reality—forcing you to question your own perceptual limitations and the mysteries of the natural world.

Delving further into the stories of the hidden people, it is impossible not to consider the impact of the geographic position and isolation of this mysterious, celestial island of Iceland. Winter's darkness allows the dazzling and supernatural Northern Lights to pervade the country with its amorphous shapes; casting brilliant colors of yellow, pink, and green downward to the land below. Black lava rocks, green mossy rocks, geysers, volcanoes, and glaciers all play their role in this mystical landscape, where the wind, snow and light show the power of nature. These spectacular displays reveal the paradoxes that man must contend with--the simplicity of things that we see on a daily basis versus the complexity of things we are unable to see within the world.

  • I love this so much. Especially since the government actually cares about some person's dream and builds in order to make it still liveable for the elves.

Ghibli should make a movie about this.

  • Any idea where I can buy this on dvd?

  • ...lived in complete harmony with nature were the Native Americans. They too, had a lot of respect for it and its inhabitants.

Meri duaa hai ke Allah swt iss qaum ko sahi raasta dikhaae aur in ke dilon mein sacha imaan paedah kare, ameen.

We humans need to search within ourselves before delving into outer matters that might not be as urgent to deal with as the inner self.

    Peace/Wassalaam!

  • There are some things humans are not supposed to see. And insh´Allah never will be able to. What good have we done to animals and other things that we can see? I think we should focus on saving the beautiful nature we were blessed with instead of destroying it and putting the animals into zoo´s for our silly entertainment.

I salute the ppl of Iceland for showing so much respect as to actually take it into account when building and stuff.

I think among the very few ppl ever who...

  • You're landscape is like a cold version of my home state's :) We have those same kinds of rocks in Southern California. We don't have so many legends about them though. The other week I saw a circle of stones that were aligned near perfectly in a circle by nature and about 10 cow grazing strictly inside the tiny circle by choice.
