dual boot xbox 360 hack

in this vid i show you switching from original to hacked firmware a couple of times if you get bored skip to the end and see the pics *i don't play mercenaries it was just the closest copied game to demonstrate*

i bought a chip exactly the same as the original firmware chip and "piggybacked" it onto the original flash and then flashed it with ixtreme 1.4 hacked firmware the chip cost just over £4 itself but took over 4 hours to fit it mainly because i had to removed the epoxy


this could be useful when the new dash comes out and ban the hacked drives i will use the hacked drive for off line play with all my copied games but still be able to use that console online with the original firmware if they dont ban im not really bothered as it dint cost much and i now have two nice LED's : )

this is not a fake video to all those who think it is just Google "dual boot 360" to find out how to do this yourself you can apparently buy a kit but i just bought the parts separately

This is totally stupid...u cant change between hacked and original...a flash is a software and not a hardware..if u could switch it the xbox should flash itself everytime u switch and because the xbox cant read bootbanks has no windows and the most important: to flash an xbox it needs more then 2 seconds...u just installed 2 LEDS and a cheap switch nothing more

you thick piece of shit they are two flash chips because i put an extra 1 in, i lifted the power pin from the mother board of the original firmware chip and left the power pin of the second chip unconnected too this can clearly be seen at 5.20, then put a wire from each lifted pin from each chip to each side of the switch and connected the middle pin of the switch to a power source although the wires are not connected in the pic u can see exactly what i meen at 5.37 so ur a faggot nothing more

@andyskater94 comments above real funny...I too reserching if new models can be dual booted...its definitely possible but the new chips integrate multiple functions which were done by separate chips on old models, hence the chips have so many pins to solder, you will likely give up and buy 2 360`s instead.
