@davidshoyt1979 yes much is theatrics now in days, but it does not mean their training does not have meaning, and I am sorry Theatrics is where the money is at. The simple fact is, pure, true fighting is nothing pretty, in fact I dare to say at times boring to watch. Most people want Theatrics to some extent, to 'show off'. However the ability, discipline, control, and fitness have great benefits. Not everyone is that warrior type, weapon in hand on field, ready to shed blood.

Just curious why do all of these hollywood actress types learn all these flashy moves that are executed wrong and never seem to know any real martial arts only a flower move here and there. they all use the weapons wrong. they all punch wrong. they're all theatrics. and why do they insist on doing bad martial arts out in public places. they must be really desperate for attention. hope they understand they are learning is crap and that their mediocre trainers are just trying to sex them.

Well Mr. Spontaneous 1688; how do you know her kicks are not effective if you have not been on the receiving end of her kicks?? I think she would defeat nearly all untrained men even 20 lbs heavier than her; and probably most trained men her own weight. She has ALL the basic skills and if she trains a little more with weights she can increase her striking power--- I think she has bright future in the martial arts and hopefully hollywood also; she is beautiful.
