Basic Manga Cleaning For Scanlation

In this video, I only covered some of the basics :
-Cropping, Rotating, Leveling, Cleaning out dust

I used a tablet in this video (which means brush size and exposure are managed by pen pressure.) So Mouse users, you will have to adjust your brush size and exposure accordingly.

I'm sometimes scanning,cleaning & typing in Gimp (linux user) for fun on my freetime (converting my manga to digital form)

But since I'm not used to image editing, the dust cleaning & fixing the gutter shadow tends to take forever.

I have tried to join the forums of different manga scanlation's in search for tips in cleaning, but mostly the stuff are unavaible for people not in the group :S

Gotta try it out in Photoshop :) (dust cleanin & getting rid of the gutter shadow)
