Seventh-Gay Adventists

Hi Luke from NZ. Id like to say God is love and he loves the sinner but hates the sinner-you know Jesus gave himself for us while we were yet in our sins. You made a comment saying that everyone has 'sexual kinks' and I agree-but the life of a Christian is about overcoming them through the love, blood & spirit of Jesus.I was a rampant womanizer and I praise God that he has freed me-God can do that for anyone homosexual if faith is there, Rev 22:14-15.

Just wanted to clarify God Loves the sinner but hates the sin! Id like to really offer encouragement and love to anyone dealing with any sin or sexual tendency that is an abomination to God and I pray with all my heart that you will act in faith and allow God - Jesus to get you out of any lifestyle that will keep you out of heaven while we have the time.

I'm behind you 100%. YOu might also want to check out kinship.org as another resource that supports Adventists who are GLBTQ (BTW, if you can't define the acronym, don't bother to post a rebuttal). The oppression and hatred that the SDA churches teach against those not of cis gender is one of the reasons that I no longer consider myself an Adventist.I also grew up Adventist and am heterosexual and married in case other critics out there are wondering. @divaholy the whole suicidal thing is only the devil's greatest hope to kill you while you're down. Bottom line. Whatever your sin is, the devil's job and hopes is to kill you in it. Won't matter much how you feel. Sin is sin. Believe it or not, sin left in the closet is not as dangerous as long as you allow Jesus to clean the closet. Don't try to clean it on your own. It won't work. Whatever the sin, there is no SELF-DELIVERANCE. Only the power of Christ can help you overcome.
