  • I'm not so sure those clouds are real, I lived there for a cpl of years and seeing a cloud was very rare. Another thing to not, is you never really get to see the sky that blue, as you can see the smog is really dense so unless you live on the 40th floor you won's see blue sky's you'll only see like a golden sky. Really makes you appreciate how blue the sky is when you do see it though

  • @boulderdashbilly didn't you see rain during the winter? Clouds are quite common around dec/jan which is when i made these, look at one of my other movies: Cloudy Day at the Burj Khalifa (part 1)

by the way, they were taken from the 32nd floor

  • Thanks Peter, glad you like them.

  • Hi Mark.. I think you've got some great videos and I'm looking for something similar for a brand tat I manage. Could we have a chat about this sometime soon. If yes, let me know where I can call you.

    Cheers

  • Hi mark d'andrea i love your work, and particularly this video. The thing is i want this video as my dreamscene wallpaper for windows, but the problem is your name is too big, do you have one where your name is not shown or small? that would be awesome???

  • @Timelapsedubai those look like cirrus clouds at about 40,000 ft even in the driest places you will see them. To me that doesn't look like smog either looks more like mist from the colder than the air sea water

  • @Timelapsedubai Fair point, yeah it rained for a few days non stop, and of course flooded everywhere coz they didn't have the foresight to install drainage anywhere.. But I consider it an all or nothing country. either blue bird or grey

  • Very cool films Mark! (PS I work with your sister ;)
