ATLUS, I swear, if you put a freaking claim on this video....

LP of Baroque, a port of a PS2 remake of the PlayStation remake of the Sega Saturn dungeon crawling hit. Only the versions for the two newer systems made it to the US.

I'm doing this during a big editing thing that I got after a vacation (although I kinda chose to get started right away, so it's kinda my fault....). But I don't want to point any fingers.

  • Yay! I love this game, and was hoping to find an LP of it since I can't make one myself. =D Subscribing!

  • These days taking a video camera and recording your television counts as an LP, just search for "LP Shadow the Hedgehog." There's three different LP series, and two are just recorded TV screens (and the other is mine on an alt channel...lol)

  • True, but I don't even have that at the moment. /8 Not having any kind of recording equipment is pretty much the only thing that keeps me from doing at least one Let's Play. Well that, and that I'm not a very good gamer in general. XD;

  • Well, there's still screen capture, so you could LP something like a flash game, or a gameboy game (emulated, of course).

And I'm not a good gamer either, but I still did this. This is my second time LP Baroque (I removed the original), and I couldn't even get to the bottom of the first tower. And I once spent a whole 10 minute episode trying to get past ONE obstacle in Shadow the Hedgehog (Holy shit.... that thing was a bitch.)

  • Yeah, I need to see if I can find emulators that work with Ubuntu Linux. And see if I can find a recording program that works on this platform as well.

Hahaha, it sounds like we're somewhat on the same level. I haven't beaten Baroque yet, but it's one of my favorite games. I love playing games, but I'm pretty mediocre when it comes to playing them. XD

  • I know there's a program to run Windows applications on linux, I just forget what it is called.

There's two programs, Wine and Cyder. One is Mac and one is Linux, but both convert windows code to Linux. I THINK Wine is linux.

Also, check your messages, I found some links that may be of use.

  • Surprised to find a LP of this game. Was starting to think I was one of very few that even cared for this rough game.

  • i kinda get desperate watching the vt getting lower and lower XD

  • Atlus sure knows how to create some mean and gore-ish games, this one and Catherine really creeps me out. Then again I've only seen Odin Sphere and Muramasa.

  • Man.... I wish I could keep my lvl on this game....

  • omg I had not played this game in a long time! I should play it again!

  • use the map by clicking select.

  • @SMGKururu

Umm, yeah. There's a way to check if you've been somewhere before. It's called the mini map. You should use it while you run through the dungeons.

  • Baroque :D By the way, congrates on pronouncing it correctly. I don't know how many people say Ba - Rock XP Really pisses meh off.

  • I just realized how you can hear your heartbeat, and it beats faster if you lose health. That's pretty cool.

  • Man this game is crazy awesome. I just beat it. On easy mode. @_@
