The ancient Greeks and Indian philosophers and scientists knew this before Muhammad came along...These ideas were discussed many times throughout history...A lot of the information was lost during the 'Dark Ages'...I don't need a book of myths to tell me this I need a science book or history book...This is silly...

MadKafir, prove to me that the ancient Greeks and Indian philosophers and scientists knew about any of the miracles that is written in the Quran, it is not a book of myths, it is a book of facts, there are so many facts that there are hours and hours and hours of lectures of scientific and mathematical facts, lots of new facts are discovered every year, did you know that the quran tells you the exact ratio of land to sea on earth (n Vice versa),

sea is mentioned 32 times in the Quran,

Land is mentioned 13 times in the Quran,

So the Total is 45

Sea 32/45 = 71.111

Land 13/45 = 28.888

How can any1 explain that, this must be the word of God NOT the word of any man,

And remember that the Quran is only Holy book that hasn't been changed or corrupted by man (like the bible)

ever chapter, verse, word, letter has been EXACTLY the same since it has been written, and the first Quran can still be seen (unlike other Holy Books) and it is still in its original language which muslim people still speak

Please, the metaphor "Earth is flat" is a metaphor, and some verses are not to be taken literally. Earth is flat is used to describe the way humans see their surrounding, everything is being laid out, spread out. And, the "Ostrich Egg" too, is a metaphor. Ostrich Egg is rounded, Earth shape is rounded too right? So what is your fucking problem?

Im assuming you have some degree; Well, the person who revealed the Holy Book the the world did not have a degree, neither did he have internet, NOR did he have basic education to read of write, AND he was raised around people who believed the earth was flat. So all of a sudden, such a person goes to a cave and finds 100% correct answers to everything, whether it was proved then on before? What is wrong with you?

Therefore this is not a miracle claim. This information was already KNOWN and PROVED for centuries, in fact for millenia. How can it be a miracle if it was known? And secondly the Earth is not shaped like an Ostrich egg. This is a lie 'Modern Science' does not tell us that. And lastly you are using the word geospherical in the wrong context. Geosphere is used as another word for Lithospehere not the shape of an object.

Second point, the roundness of the Earth was not proved in the 17th century, in fact it was known for well over 2000 years that the earth was not flat. The Ancients suggested the earth was roundwell before that time but the first person to PROVE the Earth was round was Eratosthenes. over 800 years before Islam. He even calculated the circumference of the Earth and was only off by 2%. His methods were later used by others. His Calculations were highly regarded at the time and later on. Cont.3.
