Across much of the non-Arab Muslim world, people are celebrating Norouz, the festival that marks the arrival of spring and the beginning of the new year.
In Tajikistan, women prepare for Norouz by cooking sumalak, a porridge made from sprouted wheat that is traditionally eaten on the spring holiday.
Religion and Race are two totally different things. I am a proud Muslim yet like our neighbors the Tajiks am also proud of my Aryan roots. In my kashmir the shias celebrate this and also the hindu brahmins something similar in a close period called Navreh.
