Hope

I did not write this clever poem, but fell for it entirely. Hope was special to many and her short life will never be forgotten. We look forward to watching and learning more about the American Black Bear thru Faith, her mother Lily and the other study bears.

Hope was beautiful! What I can't understand is people calmly putting tribute's on YouTube. Why can't you all be angry about it, instead of just accepting the fact, that people in your country are still primitive enough to want to shoot beautiful creatures like Hope? Be angry enough to change the stupid law!!!!!!! If you can get enough people together, you can do anything!!!!!!! I'm not an American, but I am an animal lover, so I can start the protest, this slaughter is disgusting & horrible!

@hugwildlife Yes, we are angry; but we are also mourning. There is a petition started which needs signatures to try and get some protection for the few bears that are being used in the research. It will take time and many, many more people to get involved. All we can do is try, and if we do nothing - no change will come. There is a huge need for accurate information about bears worldwide. I believe strongly that the bear families used in this research should be protected.
