  • So do you reuse it after it's been burned out, or get a new one because that thing still looks usable.

  • No, you cannot reuse an ESAB regulator after an RBO (regulator burn out). You must send it in for service or consider replacement. Our advanced design prevents explosion, but the regulator will have internal damage and be inoperable. In fact, we've seen situations where a customer won't know they've had an RBO, and will send it in for service saying it's no longer working, when in actuality, we may have prevented serious operator injury and maybe even saved a life.   • If that's what it takes. Better a few bucks than your face or worse.

  • Spend the extra $50 get a brand new one.

  • scary shit, welding is not something to be a cheap-ass on

  • Do not buy any old used and dirty regulators for Oxygen!
