It's all well and good (sarcastically speaking) that he is referring to the Germans and their culture considering that Jung's influences spiritually speaking were generally gnostic as opposed to traditionally pagan. His psychology influences came more from Austria anyway, and German speaking Swiss are not entirely connected to Germans culturally speaking.

As a matter of fact I have. Furthermore Noll claims in this interview precisely what he claims in the book! Have you read all of Jung's works? If not, then how do you have anyway to judge Noll's work? Instead of accusing me of ignorance, please give me a reference to where Noll says the opposite of what I claim he does. Tell me what Noll really claims about Jung.

Noll is full of nonsense. Having read Jung for 15 year Jung not once ever claimed anybody should identify with God. He persistently claimed this to be a danger. He constantly stated that one needed a relationship to the God-image not identification, which leads to insanity. His personal views may not be acceptable to many Christians, but Noll knows nothing of his real views.

You must have read Nolls books carefully and checked his references otherwise I could say you know nothing about Nolls real views. This is unqualified and unhelpful.
