The great singer, Galina Vishnevskaya sings Parasha's Aria "Russian sonng" from the opera "Mavra" by Igor Stravinsky. The recording made during the concert in the Conservatory in Moscow, 17.01.1973. At the piano is Mstislav Rostropovich.

  • yes, great singer, but very strange rendition of this song. Not loyal to the rythms, breathing in the middle of words.

    No, it's not at the end of her career.

    I think Vishnevskaya sings it like that, because it is her interpretation. A bit odd that you think she has problems with this rythm...
