The violin here is godly

Just beautiful.

Where's the vocals! We need vocals! We need Clare Torry!
-
@GoresVire couldnt have said it any better
-
That shrill violin makes it sound to lugubriously sad. It's hauntingly beautiful.
-
the violin parts werent originally written voiced for violin...... they are awesome as they were interpreted here, imho

I feel it should be mentioned that Jaz Coleman from Killing Joke did the arrangements for this album as it was his idea to do it in the first place - and Youth from KJ produced it too :) Beautiful music btw.

This is such a cool album :) I need to get it for study time or something. Pink Floyd and classical music? Hell yeah!
They should have had an operatic singer doing some vocals on this though, instead of the violin, which is a little shrill and annoying on the high notes, and not quite as amazingly explosive, more like a background element, and I always found the vocals the most amazing and great part of this song. They're not words, they're an instrumental track!
In any case, thank you! :)

you're welcome :) On the original, I believe the term for the use of voice is "vocable" singing.
and, I agree about the occasional shrillness of the violin- perhaps they could've used a clarinet and toned it down an octave?
