i'm south indian and about to go to college in minnesota...i promised my friends that i would bring a basement bhangra party to the campus if they don't have one already. only reason i listen to bhangra is because of the magic of the above :)
tabla + TDF + a very big set of speakers = my life. :D

Well, I guess I do have some connection, my girlfriend is Punjabi and I've been learning the language through her.
.. but the love of the Dhol is all me, it's an instrument I've been fascinated for quite some time, I can't help but want to dance when I hear it, especially when The Dhol Foundation are rockin' it.

its a shame more people don't know about the dhol foundation...i remember i saw them perform live when they came to dubai a decade ago....one of the best shows ever!
