(15 minutes later)


Noah: "My turn, truth or dare?"
Elle: I laughed. "Truth."
Noah: "Why did you break up with me?"
Ellie: WHAT. "I..um..."
Noah: "Were you scared? 'Cause I know you know I wasn't cheating on you, did you think I would when I was away? What did I do wrong?"
Ellie: "Noah..." He had completely turned this game around, I sat there for a few minutes, remembering the night I broke up with him.

[Flashback]
Noah: "Ready to go? The movie starts at 9."
Ellie: "No...we need to talk."
Noah: "Okay? What about?" *they sit down*
Ellie: I should tell him about the baby, just spit it out but I can't...I can't ruin his life like that, he had such an amazing future ahead of him, he was so smart. "I'm breaking up with you."
Noah: "What?"
Ellie: "We can no longer be together."
Noah: "What are you talking about?"
Ellie: "I'm sorry, Noah." I could feel the tears escape my eyes.
Noah: He got up, he was crying now too. "Why are you doing this? I can see that you don't want to break up with me, what's going on?! What did I do wrong?"
Ellie: "You didn't do anything wrong. I just..."
Noah: "You just what, Elle?!"
Ellie: I am so going to regret doing this. "I don't love you anymore."
Noah: He bit his lip and wiped his tears, "You're lying."
Ellie: I shook my head. "No. I'm not lying. I am no longer in love with you, Noah."
Noah: He shook his head, tears falling. Damn, this hurt so bad to do to him. "No."
Ellie: "I'm sorry, Noah. It's over. Get out." He just stood there looking me, his eyes full of hatred. "Leave!" I hated shouting at him but it was the only way.
Noah: He opened the door and stopped before leaving, he didn't even turn around and his voice was completely flat as he said..."You are dead to me."
[End of flashback]

Ellie: "I can't answer that."
Noah: "Fine. Then truth or dare?"
Ellie: "But it's my turn!"
Noah: "No, it isn't. You didn't answer mine."
Ellie: "Okay, okay. Dare."
Noah: "I dare you to kiss me."
Ellie: "Okay.....wait WHAT?!"
Noah: He scooted closer to me and held my cheek with his hand so lightly I could barely feel it. "I dare you..." Now his lips were just centimeters away from mine. "to kiss me." And so I did, it was a small peck but I could feel him trying to deepen it so I quickly stood up from the couch.
Ellie: "I should go..."
Noah: "Elle?"
Ellie: "I have a lot of homework to do tonight, i'll text you later." I made a run for it to my room. Dani and Evan weren't there, thank God.


(Dani's POV - Evan's room)

Dani: "I cannot believe your own brother walked in on us making out, I haven't even told Elle about us."
Evan: "Yeah, talk about awkward."
Dani: "Speaking of us, what are we..exactly?"
Evan: *leaning over Dani on the bed with a hand on each side of her, trapping her* "Friends with benefits has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?"
Dani: WHAT? I pushed him off of me and got up from the bed. "Not exactly what I had in mind, Evan."
Evan: "What do you mean?"
Dani: "I don't want to be your slut!"
Evan: "I didn't say you were! I just feel like if we had a relationship it would ruin our friendship so if there are no strings attatched then we won't hurt eachother."
Dani: "Too late, Ev. Our friendship is already down the toilet."
Evan: "So you want us to have an exclusive relationship?
Dani: "I don't want to be with someone who doesn't want the same things as me."
Evan: He got up and stood in front of me. "How do you know I don't want the same things as me?"
Dani: "Because you hook up with girls all the time, you're just like your brother. And we've been best friends since the 1st grade, I know you all too well and--" He grabbed my cheeks with one hand and squished them together. "But I think i'm fwalling fwor you. Or I fwell a long time ago." He was really making it hard to speak, he pulled me in by the cheeks and kissed me long and soft.
Evan: "I've felt the same way, you know? But I was always too much of a pussy to do anything about it."
Dani: "Yeah, that sounds like you."
Evan: *smirks*"Can I please just kiss you now, girlfriend?"
Dani: I giggled, boy did that sound good. I kissed him and tangled my fingers in his soft curls, feeling on top of the world.
