Petersen Classic 2007 - Craig Harrington 268 game

Here are a couple frames of Craig Harrington throwing a 268 on lanes 1&2 at the Petersen Classic Fri July 27, 2007. He threw 9 beautiful brooklyn strikes! x//xxxxxxxx9

Craig won the Pete (don't know what year) and went into the Petersen Hall of Fame in 2008.

Do a google for Petersen Classic.  I would give you the website address but I'm not allowed to put a link to a website in my post....sorry. (hint - try - thepetersen)

BTW, the Petersen is a singles event. There is a link on the website that will list the squads that need people.

Go bowl this tournament and try to hit the 1-3 pocket and see what you get. On some lanes you can do this, but most, you have to hit Brooklyn in order to carry since most of the racks are horrendously and intentionally fucked up.

And Craig was laughing all the way to the bank when he won this: $25,000 for 1st. Yeah, he really suck, doesn't he. :\

The petersen is the most BRUTAL tourny EVER, 1 lane no oil, 1 lane 60 ft of oil not stripped for a month! racks with INTENTIONAL SCISSOR issues, creating HORRID racks, 4 lb pins in some racks, no arrows... GET A LIFE and LEARN BEFORE YOU SPEAK, this coming from a 240 average PBA tour bowler see you at the World Series, COACH!

268 is huge @ The Peterson. Words alone cannot describe how hard that shot is. It makes the PBA look easy.

complety unsanctioned tournament, different weighted pins

no real oil pattern, flooded oil, no oil. that kind of thing. hitting the pocket just wont do in the peterson classic. you need to throw somewhere near the headpin or brooklyn to carry!!
