Hours later, after the melodic crashing of the waves wrought by the soundblasts of the duel between David Bowie and Rocknight came to a halt, it was Bowie down upon one knee in submission.
They had his blessing to venture into the insidious Nickelback Badlands, marking the first time he had been matched in such a duel. The Trance Sirens descended water-wards, and Bowie slipped back into the sky on owl wings, bidding Rocknight fortune in his own puzzling vernacular.
