@madjimms Believe me I understand your feelings, but know this, ever since boats have been bringing people here from Europe there has been alot of religious people in this country. Darwin only published his theory 150 years ago. We have come a long way since then. In your lifetime you will witness incredible breakthroughs in Genetics and Science in general. There are amazing secular organizations fighting tooth and nail to keep our country safe from these religious fanatics trying to take over.

@metalsusa1 I may get hated on this, but I honestly can't stand this country for that very reason.

If the country was secular like the founding fathers intended it to be, I would be a patriot.

@madjimms The scary part is 10's of millions of Americans believe wholeheartedly that we were created in a special one time event, Noah's flood really happened, and Jesus will return; most likely in their lifetime; to judge the living and the dead. Personally, I blame an event the took place in the 1800's called the "GREAT AWAKINING". Through what we now call the BIBLE BELT in the American Midwest around the time of the Civil War millions of people gave themselves to Christ by some charlatans.

@metalsusa1 Maybe their just butt-hurt that God is such an punk. I mean If you thought that if you didn't kiss Jesus's ass you were going to be punished for all eternity, it might make you do some crazy stuff.

Personally I just imagine a big rubber stamp that I slap on bible thumpers foreheads that says "Me no smart" & I'm all good.

@madjimms To be serious for a moment the pro-life movement is driven by scripture in the bible. One tiny problem, through out the Old Testament children, infants, and babies are routinely either killed outright by God or God orders there violent end by one of his lackeys. The New Testament consistently is anti-family. I'm not to sure what their talking about?
