  • I'm from NJ (I live close to NYC), and the sun doesn't come up until around 7am here, and sets around 4:30pm. It was in the upper 20s F here yesterday, which is cold for NJ...especially with the wind chill. I can't imagine NYC going through a polar night...I don't think they could handle it.
