The Bible is a history book that also records the future. All the OT and NT books, are connected like a puzzle. You have to understand that the Bible doesn't leave anything out. It records the good, bad and the ugly...that includes the history of slavery of a group of ppl, rape, & murder. The Bible records the laws that Moses...a fallible, imperfect human, wrote. This is not to say that the Bible supports these laws. We need context & discernment. Jesus did away with those laws.

Religion really has nothing to do with what he was talking about to be straight with you. He simply gave the history of Margret Sanger and her well documented motivations. I'm tired of people who ignore the black an white issues that still exists. I don't think most black people feel that abortion is sole targeted toward them and that every person who is pro-abortion is a racist, but you must understand the history of abortion in America to understand how some blacks feel.
