I first heard the Horseflies in 1988 when I bought the album because I liked the cover. Loved every track on it for years. Never replaced it when I moved to CD's - must do so, great band. Just getting better with the years.

The more timgoes on....the more Richie Stearns emerges as a great artist...I have been familiar with all his efforts..from Bubba George to Donna the Buffalo, to Boy with a fish, and he has never stopped growing into a musical force....His live mastery at this point is as good as anyones.

I saw the Flies in Burlington VT when I was 15 - 1993. They played at Club Metronome. What a wild show. For an 18+ ONLY crowd I was happy to have the right connections to get in.
