i have been many forms before i have been a learned form i have been a drop of rain i have been a road and eagle i have been a coracle in the sea i have been in deep water in breaking waves i have been a spark in a fire i have been a tree in a wood when trees were charmed. wanting not to be trees not of mother and father. when i was made my form was created of nine kind of faculties. of fruit of fruits. of the fruit of the god of the beginning.

that reminds me of a poem I wrote called "SOUPTIME", here is a condensed version: Veils of light play on the rippling conscience We were swimming in illusions drowning in memories floating down river toward the cascade. Some of us washed up on shore Picking the seaweed out of our gills we gasped... wobbled onto our hind fins sprouted fingers, started counting, built tall ships to pirate the seas who swallowed us up. We oozed out again. No longer primordial, were smart shit.
