It's true, the man was difficult and was probably swearing and spitting out of his drunk ass mouth. But the police officer is not a customer service agent or a security guy; he is supposed to be a professional. He needs to learn to be more diplomatic and control the other person with words. This cop was probably less than polite himself, got into the guys face and when the drunk guy reacted and put a finger up he snaps and punches as if he was just another drunk patron.
