My 10-year-old son just stumbled on some old Jem tapes I still have. I told him it was a girls' cartoon I used to watch when I was a teenager.

Actually it's not a "high C" I think. It didn't seem right to me because I can sing a high C and I can't sing whatever Jem's singing. I don't have a piano on me but I listened to a range of notes from a Kristin Chenoweth vid, caught the C6 she belted (high C), hummed that constantly to myself until I could get to this video, and sure enough, it's the same note, but exactly an octave higher. It's a C7 and it's officially in the whistle register.

One thing I absolutely love about this song is it finally proved that Jem and the Holograms were fed up with the Misfits and decided to bust out of the sweet girly girl image. Love the tone and the song itself! Thanks for posting!

Thanks! I posted it after the others were taken off for some reason. But others have posted new ones recently. However I had a hard time finding just the song so I posted it. By the way, thanks for the comment.
