Something I just coined: "frackmageddon" = fracking (the process of destroying a geological formation employing the pressure of a highly toxic mixture of fluids as the source of energy) + Armageddon (A dramatic and catastrophic conflict).
North Royalton RESIDENTIAL Oil/Gas Well Drilling

Yep ... THEY are drilling in residential areas in North Royalton. This well is about a half mile from out home. As if the BP oil spill was not bad enough these guys want to have a go at it in our neighborhoods. And if that was not bad enough our Governor, Ted Strickland, and Ohio legislators have streamlined the whole process for drillers to the point that residents are put at risk. Bainbridge. Ohio ... home blown off its foundations. Gates Mills ... over 1000 gallons poured into the Chagrin River. Valley Vista Elementary in North Royalton. Ohio ... oil shot up into the air from a leak. just missing children playing on the playground. Check out the sound meter ... many times in excess of 60 dB in the middle of the night. To give you an idea of the noise listen to the noise of the rig and compare it to the noise of the car turning off and then back on with the night shots. You can barely hear the car over the noise. The footage was taken 10-11 September 2010 by Wallings and Foxwood. Home prices in the area have already plummeted. Sorry for the low light as I have been making due with a Sony DCR-PC330 camcorder. Footage came at some cost as a pro-residential oil drilling Royal Valley homeowner visiting the new oil barons decided to throw out obscenities and threats all in the presence of a young girl on the lot. Remember also that North Royalton is not that big of a city and yet there are 14 residential oil wells along Wallings Road alone. Residents are complaining of loud noises, obnoxious odors, splitting headaches, respiratory problems and eye maladies like red eye. Not to mention the drastic reduction in home values as a result of having commercial drilling in residential areas. More information on the toxic Halliburton nightmarish creation called "Fracking" as well as other oil/gas well drilling information see:

Don't think it can't happen to you! Its already happening to the residents of North Royalton and many in the Midwest. We've been sold out!
