the setting was unbelievable, but the contestants were all flat and nobody stood out. i have sense Lionel Ritchie knew the lack of talent thats why he took control of the stage the way he did.

I was in the backing choir for this.. the one in the Opera House, not on the steps outside... and it was the best experience ever, not just the actual performance, but pre-recording in a studio a few days prior and of course singing with Lionel Richie!! And Natalie won, so I was more excited at the end!!

Awesome production. The fireworks, timing, atmosphere, everything was perfect. Unfortuently I don't recognise 1 person from that series of Australian Idol. Still, what a finale.
