LOTR TTA Black Gate Evil on Hard with M.O.S. - Part 1

It's very difficult to beat the Black Gate on Hard, and almost impossible if the hero you're using isn't Saruman. However, here's some videos showing how to defeat the game on Hard with the Mouth of Sauron, which is actually pretty amazing all things concerened. If you do not have Shagrat the powerhouse Ugluk works just as well as long as he is on a flank with another hero. Sorry for potential bad quality.

Whats the best mission to level Evil side Secondary Commanders? Also what mode. I'm struggling to complete Hard Mode Evil Side Black Gate trying to get Shagrat, I did it years ago but with Mouth of Sauron I now have started again recently and using Witch King, any tips?

You are using the wrong commanders if this is your first time trying. You must use Saruman. His Swarm of Crebain paralyzes any enemy (including heroes, even primary ones) and does some really nice damage, and if you can pick a Secondary Hero with 8 SP or better with him he will be able to use it every turn. The heroes die really easily then. Also, use Ugluk if Shagrat is unavailable. Move him over to the Middle flank from the left side and move an orc chief to take his place.

Good job! The two make a really good team, since Gothmog fills in the SP and CP where the Witch-King fails, while the Witch-King himself is a combat monster. I really didn't like playing the Witch-King that much since three of his skills focus on himself (making it hard sometimes to coordinate an army). Anyway, congrats!

i hate hard mode since the enemy does not get smarter it just gets more defense and attack wich is retarded :C

That's a valid point, although you can't make the game too hard. Otherwise, hard would be grueling and grueling would be like fighting this game against the Devil.
