@MikeCooperMusic (continued)... After the audio is done, I then edit the video (I use Sony Vegas). This takes even longer than shaping the audio. All in all it's a labour, but a labour of love. If/when you get frustrated at any point, just remember that you're doing it for fun. Don't be too hard on yourself, especially at first. I look forward to your videos! Thanks again for your comments!

@gorgobar Thank you! This was actually my very first VideoSong. I have learned a lot since then and am constantly changing how I do things.
I hit record on my camera and then my audio recording software and play the instrument through. Then I do the same for each instrument/voice track. Then I spend time editing the audio (I use Cubase LE 4 which came with my effects pedal...and have just bought an iBook, so I'll be using Garage Band as well).

Nice work, hoping to do something like this myself eventually, any tips on software you used? And did you layer it one section at a time or perform everything independently and then combine them? I imagine it is a PITA to edit ^^
