According to this introduction to an episode of "Sid Roth's It's Supernatural" featuring Michael Brown and his book "A Queer Thing Happened to America," kids are just freaked out by the idea of having two mothers or two fathers.

Gay men can't cook/tie shoes/keep their hands off one another at the bus stop/get along with one another long enough to read a book?

What's the message to a child who has lost his/her mother or father?

"A growing body of scientific literature demonstrates that children who grow up with 1 or 2 gay &/or lesbian parents fare as well in emotional cognitive social and sexual functioning as do children whose parents are heterosexual. Children’s optimal development seems to be influenced more by the nature of the relationships and interactions within the family unit than by the particular structural form it takes"

@DanimalCollective If a large reliable study that wasn't funded by gay activist/feminist/radical leftist groups and also compared the kids of gay adopters to those of straight adopters supported your point of view I would be convinced.

I think that outcome is extremely unlikely though

If you would rather have children live in foster homes or be wards of the state, I guess you really are pro-children.... hey, wait a minute... that seems hypocritical to me but, eh, you're the hetero.
