The old black rear case was worn out on this iPhone 3GS, so we were supplied with a new case and fitted it to the iPhone.

I take it you are blaming us as you tried to follow our movie on the basis you thought it was a tutorial or some form of how to movie? We don't make those types of movies, all we do is show what we do as a business not how to do things, if you decided to open your iPhone for whatever purpose that is nothing to do with us, reading the description to the movie explains this.
