  • So awesome. Therapeutic

  • Great tunes, great playing :-)

  • great sliabh luachra style played in e flat , great for dancers

hope will meat you for a day for a session...!

  • The first tune is the Gleanntan I believe and the last is one of O'Keefe's but anyone know the names of the others?

  • Lovely the one starting on 0:54, thanks for this!

  • The first polka I heard back in the early 70's on one of the first albums released by the Chieftains. Lovely playing 5 ***** ♥

  • Ok if you want to get technical, "technically" they are single jigs. A "slide" is a nickname for one of the dances commonly included in most of the popular Kerry-Cork dance sets and which is usually danced to a single jig.

Of course common usage dictates and I don't know if you'll find many ITM enthusiasts, myself included, that don't call them slides.

  • these are slides. but so what if he messed up on the title. its still good music

  • Likely the best Dancing tune's in Ireland,,

And best fun = '' The Kerry Polka '' --

    jim,,,,

  • These are great tunes, very appreciated, as usual. You da man. But, technically, I think these tunes are slides.
