  • "Sending them to the back alleys to die"???!!!

    Doubleyoo-tee-eff is she thinking?

  • @cocobear33 You've got that right!

  • @RodgersRevolution People don't like to be held responsible for their actions, plain and simple!

  • Where in the constitution is congress given the authority to rule on such things? This should be refered to the states or the people. Damn both sides who keep the subject alive merely for their financial gain.

  • Anything to take away from the fact they are murdering babies.

  • cocobear33, I agree. Whatever your opinion of abortion (I think it should be decided at the state level and lower...like the death penalty, which is the constitutional position), it is wrong to force anyone to pay for another persons abortion.

  • there is no law that says tax payers have a right to pay for your abortions , you want to have one pay for it yourself

  • 2:58 "white men telling women about reproduction"

is race really pertinent to this issue?

  • The hypocrisy of the conservative/religious movement in politics is enormous. There is no logic in claiming two contradictory things:

    1. Government must not get between patients and their doctors.

    2. Patients and their doctors may not use insurance from this plan to cover a legal procedure that we personally do not approve of. We are the government and we say so.

If you want the government to butt out, then butt out!

  • If you boil down the main issue, in my opinion it is about personal liberties. A woman's right to choose an elective medical procedure.

I think if we truly want to protect our civil liberties, we need to take authority away from the Federal government not grant them more authority.
