Shai Linne is one the influences here on earth that led me to find God, my brother had just told me that he was an incredible lyricist, so i listened in, and after listening to The Solus Christus Project, i dipped a bit more into Christianity and i can gladly say now im saved by The Lord Jesus Christ

he is saying works as a means of salvation will not get you to heaven, but in james it says that our works comes from our faith which is a gift from God. so if we do not bear fruit (works) we do not have saving faith

Lol! X-tians r funny. If Christ was a direct descendant of Adam (assuming he even existed) then the first human showed up on earth 6,000 years ago. Yet clearly there are human bones that show that humans have been around for at least 3 million years.

So in short good works occur because you have been saved by faith not because you are trying to be saved or stay saved. To think other wise would spit on the Gospel famo for in it "a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith." - Romans 1:17. That isn't what James 2 is saying. Otherwise it would be in contradiction with Ephesians 2:8-9. James 2 is an indictment of those who claim to have believe in Jesus, but their works don't line up with their "faith". (consider how he uses the example of the Demons who "believe"). Good works are a by product of authentic faith in Christ. Becuz your belief /faith/trust in Christ leads you to esteem him & what he likes be that sexual purity, humility, to taking care of the poor & widows.

No words can explain how much of a blessing Shai Linne is to this movement...Truth be told he would be selling millions had he chosen to spit wordly flows...But he chose the best side instead.

Praise God for this brother and others like him. The Lord is truly awesome in working in and through cats to bring glory to His most Holy and precious name. JESUS, whut!?! But the Lord really did gift this cat lyrically... sick wit it. Bless God!
