  • @turtlebum0 You apparently didn't read my post. If Bolt is taking drugs, he must have been taking them since he was 14, because it has been obvious since then that he was an extraordinary sprinter. If you want to know the "secret" to Jamaica's sprint success, I invite you to attend Boys and Girls Champs (high school track meet) in Jamaica one year. When you see the competitiveness and fanaticism at that level, you will get it.

  • @ananse77 I will be very surprised that in ten years time they won't have found that bolt took any drugs. Cause he has defiantly taken something

  • @turtlebum0 As for Usain Bolt-the world discovered him at 2008 Olympics, but any Jamaican reasonably well-informed about sports has been following him for at least a decade. When I saw him as a teen at Jamaica’s Boys Championships, I had no doubt that one day this kid would dominate the sprint world. Boy’s Champs is ridiculously competitive. Any finalist there has a world class time, so any boy that wins there by distances like Bolt did when he was in high school, is sure to be a world champion.

  • @turtlebum0 It's just that a no. of things coming together for Jamaica right now - training facilities at universities in Kingston->less athletes go abroad, stricter drug testing keeping dodgy athletes from other countries (potential Marion Jones') in check,Usain Bolt, more resources (e.g. Puma sponsorship). In a couple of years it'll be some other country’s time. These things go in cycles. Take cricket: 60s, 70s, 80s, West Indies dominated. Then Australia took over. Now they're on the decline.

  • @turtlebum0 Lol. No. I'm 35 & Jamaicans have been amazing sprinters my whole life. Look at any sprint final over the past 15 years (Olympics, World Champs, European track meets) and you usually find 1 or 2, even 3 Jamaicans in the final. Always up there with the US, Brits, USSR (now defunct). Pretty amazing when you think how many countries are in the world.

  • ok its nester carter yohan usain and who else?

  • that guy falls over lol

  • @andresaus 36.88 MAS O MENOS

  • @summerland232 Because they pass the baton just before each 100m line. So really they have a running start. If you look at when Blake passes the baton to Bolt it's like 10 meters behind the 100 meter line. So Bolt is already into his running by the time he passes the 100m starting line so he can produce a faster 100m time.
