  • If I try to describe how this music compliments the movie, then I will probably have to post multiple comments and will probably confuse the readers. So I will simply say this. This song, the music, it romanticises the whole movie. It's just extraordinary.

  • @toseeornot2see

im interested in your comments..please do elaborate .

  • @ajsomred Well, first of all, Chuck palahniuk, being a romantic, has romanticized existentialism and nihilism in fight club. Now, since Fincher is a remarkable director, he has, quite elegently, portrayed the ideas Palahniuk in his rendition of Fight Club. What this music video does is create a certain element of mysticism around the movie. I have seen the film many times and read the novel, yet I felt a certain mystique about it after watching the video.

    I have reached the limit.

  • @toseeornot2seen Thanks for sharing your view . I dint read the novel...my version of fight club was that of Fincher's . It was a very intuitive rendition , Something i did spontaneously . So for me the video was a reflection of what i felt when i watched the movie . Most of the other videos seem to have a very macho feel about them . So im pleased to know that a few others have the same connection with the movie .

  • some time has now passed since i made this video and during this time my understanding of why i had made this video the way i did has broadened, id now like to make a comment on that.

  • continued... I chose a melancholy song to represent my view of fight club because i had always felt that it was a movie about self-destruction. This, if your keen enough to observe is implicit in every second of the video. And i think most people who like this video also have the same sense of association with this movie.

  • continued....This is because while Fight club is probably one of the greatest pieces of art produced by man, its theme is very morose and evil (i.e it romanticizes self destruction and a hatred of civilized society). I mean to say its not a happy story that ends with a sense of optimism. But I i did fall in love with the way Fincher translated this story onto the screen, and out of this love i made a video that romanticizes the movie with a sort of a depressive feel.

  • All in all, it was all about Marla. The question was when Narrator will realize it.

  • Great choice of music

  • Very good concept video

  • Amazing video with an amazing song, incredible editing.

I enjoyed your POV of this movie, too many people view it as a violent fight movie, it's much more then that, it's a lesson about life.

    Greatest movie ever made.
