"I remember i came up with the ideas for this song sitting on a couch hugging my girlfriend at the time and thinking how lucky I was to be in that moment and to be actually realising it and not just letting it pass me by without taking notice. Life seems to do that too so many of us so easily. I remember visualising leaves falling from a tree just letting nature take its course and thinking how splendid that seemed at the time, no technology involved just everything being organic and right and so was born a little song...I wrote the entire song and all its compositions in my head whilst staring at the falling leaves in back yard (man im weird sometimes), I was so obsessed with the idea of falling leaves I remember I took the band on a "Just People & Leaves", Aust tour and I collected falling leaves from each venue we played and kept them in a book, it meant so much to me.
