Nefabit Floorwork Solo from Koreshakti's Production "Alchemy"

This is my solo as "Juliana's Apprentice" from the show "Alchemy" directed by Nicole Richardson of Koreshakti Tribal Fusion. The song is Jai Saraswati by Kama Shivaya - performed live!

There were two reasons that this night was not as good, the first being that my muscles got too cold sitting on stage before my performance, and I pulled two muscles during the first minute. That made things difficult, to say the least! The other problem was that my costume was just not cooperating that night!
I had a blast doing this show and I hope you enjoy the performance. : ) I was excited to have the opportunity to do a piece made up entirely of floorwork! To my knowledge I don't think that has been done before now.

Kama Shivaya is now Pax Lumina (due to a change in the line up, still excellent music). This show (and Nefabit's performance) is what opened up my mind to the true beauty/artwork that is bellydancing/tribal fusion. The pose at 3:13, is to me, that of a swan.
