Hi coyork15.....When it was first released it said it was written by Brian wilson......Later it became written by Chuck Berry.........I don't believe Brian Wilson just gave it to Chuck..If you know what I mean.

Here's our story - despite music, athletics and academics (Uh, great looks too) my brother and I couldn't buy a date. So, I told him.. memorize this song. No music background, just trust me. He hated me, but what was the alternative? We performed and we never-ever had a problem getting a date again. This is such a great, great song. TRY IT!!! He took low, I took high.. and it was fun, fun, fun.
