The new Google Earth 5 has a great new feature letting you turn back the clock on aerial/satellite imagery. Here's an example looking at the building of the Beijing National Stadium (also known as the "Bird's Nest") built for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

  • @AFCBLK I hav the same problem, when i try to view the WTC before 9/11, nothing happens!

  • when i zoom out completly and turn it back to 1930 everything is green. did they even have satelittes in 1930?

  • when i zoom in to a certain place, i want it to go back to the 40's but it wont let me. someone help !
