expensive for what it is and mine isn't even dwr in the slightest. its not even anywhere near 900 HH, i can easily put to my lips and push spit through, dribble spit through it in fact.

In usage it suffers from condensation

also, would have been nice to have has grosgrain all along it not just on the weak parts but of course someone will say "that's to save weight" blah blah

Hey Mike, Couple things, First off the BBO is made specifically from non DWR fabric for a reason, it is not supposed to block moisture and is not coated at all. You are supposed to be able to breath though it. Second adding Grosgrain ribbon to the edges would make it so that the shock cord channels would not compress and draw in the fit the way it is supposed to, and yes it would add weight, and labor cost. I am sure that if you do not like it you could resell it easily on HF

@caveyeti123 i'm not sure what HF is.....

however, can't they be made from pertex or something more waterproof? in the uk it rains a lot and to keep out moisture (yes i know t's not supposed to be a tarp of any sort) and condensation to a minimum untreated nylon dosen't work for this part of the world

it's a well-made item i give you that and the craftsmanship admirable but its still kinda costly and more so with my spit on it :D
