I agree with Bruce on America, Im American myself, and it seems Im wanna the few in my hometown that can respect bands just because there european, I mean I giess there are some good american bands out there, like The Eagles (At least I think they are) But lets face it, because its the truth, when it comes to good generes of music like metel, rock n roll, ect. the brittish are the best.

bruce dickinson is fuking right!!! they really dont need to come to the U.S!! all americans do is play their shitty talentless rock bands on the radio over and over again and yet they sell less records then maiden when maiden doesnt even get radio play in america plus alot of american bands hate iron maiden cuz maiden is more talented. its just the truth

@maiden4lifa09 Uh, thats actually quite far from the truth. American bands hate Maiden?lol Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Exodus and more have all expressed appreciation for Iron Maiden. Bruce says nothing here regarding America having bad taste in music. You seem to have taken his point the wrong way. My friends and I are American and we love British music. I don't see what the point is in being ethnically devisive. And Maiden get radio-play where I live btw :)

@KWACKnockedShrimp England had the top FEW BEST bands, but America has arguably produced larger numbers of good bands, Megadeth, Metallica, Pantera, Anthrax, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Aerosmith, Foghat, Styx, Kiss, Fleetwood Mac(though half british they were undeniably better with Buckingham and Nicks who were American). America has produced a lot of great rock and metal. I agree with Bruce on a lot, but not here. They are both equal.

@teenmetalfreak3 70 percent of downloads and cd purchases are girls 15-29.That is WORLDWIDE,these talentless clowns like Bieber and Gaga are famous EVERYWHERE.We metalheads have to grind our teeth and deal with it just like everywhere else.There are many hard rock stations you can listen to on TV,RADIO,or elsewhere.I am american too ,but I have far more respect for the British bands and much prefer all things British metal too with some exceptions like bay area thrash.
