The opening titles of the 60s tv series Court Martial.

I collect old television and radio material, so if you'd like to see more of this, get in touch.

  • @MrSuperneil05 i was picking up a british series on uhf some decade ago called pathfinders it was like 12 o clock high

  • It first aired on Grade's ATV network in England in the fall of 1965, and then in the U.S. on ABC's Friday night schedule [10-11pm(et)] in the summer of '66. 26 episodes were produced...

  • This was "spun-off" from a two-part "KRAFT SUSPENSE THEATER" episode, "The Case Against Paul Ryker" {October 10-17, 1963}, later re-edited into a 1968 theatrical feature, "Sergeant Ryker". Lee Marvin was "Ryker", and Peter Graves and Bradford Dillman played his military attorneys. In 1965, MCA/Universal decided to co-produce a follow-up series, starring Graves and Dillman, with Lew Grade's ITC, filming it in England....

  • @Reeldigger Tanks, this was issued on a vhs tape under the title sargent riker [ trying to make it appear to be a movie instead of a tv show the episode with lee marvin was he a hero or was he a maniac.]

  • Frank Cordell who scored the Charlton Heston movie, Khartroum, wrote the Court Martial theme. He's better known in the UK than he is over here.

  • @Reeldigger Who wrote the music it sounds like a cross between spartacus and the shoes of the fisherman was it alex north?

  • interesting all the class series of different formats from 60's and 70's ie the baron, the saint, court martial, espionage, the big valley, rawhide, wagon train, phil silvers, colditz, atv thriller, centennial, man in a suitcase, the fugitive, the dick powell theatre, combat.....the list is endless all classics and compare to the unmttigated garbage of today, a bygone era that will never be recaptured

  • Great show-Loved it,the J.A.G. of it's day!

  • Thankyou for posting I remember watching this as as a kid in the 60s never thought I would see it again

  • must own up i remember the program ! nice to re live the old days when i was a lad :) sad eh .
