One of the best moments of my life was singing an evensong as part of a guest choir in St Paul's and doing this setting. Cheeky, but oh my life it was one of the most amazing experiences!

Howells had a great knack for finding great moments in a lushly harmonized piece for the choir to sing a passage in unison, And never cheesy like John Rutter. It's often rather haunting!
